He’s been serving the Lord in various ministry functions since 1985. He was a youth ministry leader in 1986-87 and later became a pastor in the early 90s. Joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) right after his DTS training in 1994. Became the first Discipleship Training School (DTS-UofN) director in YWAM Balut, Manila, Philippines in 2011. Conduct youth, Church leaders and pastors seminars.
He’s passionate about prayer, mission mobilization and training. Desire to see the release of young missionaries into the harvest field through DTS, mission awareness and seminars for youth, church leaders and pastors. He is now leading YWAM Laoag pioneering team with his wife Evelyn.
Get to know Josefito and Evelyn
The couple re-pioneered YWAM Laoag ministry together with two staff members and their two children, Karisa Hannah and Karsten Jon, last June 2018. Josefito joined YWAM in 1993. While Evelyn served YWAM earlier in 1985 both in Europe and the Philippines. They had been serving as DTS school directors and pastor’s seminar organizer before embarking on pioneering work to re-establish YWAM Laoag ministry. Both Josefito and Evelyn are trained lay counselors. Josefito was trained in a seminary with a post-graduate study in Pastoral counseling at Asian Theological Seminary. While Evelyn was trained and mentored in Europe under the counseling program of the University of the Nations - YWAM.

Right after earning her college degree, she worked as a bookkeeper in a company for 5 years, then later joined YWAM in1985. She has been doing various ministry functions for the last 30 years, doing the Lord's work through Youth With A Mission Europe & Philippines. Working together with YWAM Bacolod, a pioneering team, then later in 1996, led the Biblical Counseling School (IBC) on that base. Her passion is in the area of counseling, prayer and intercession. She served in leadership with the Balocod YWAM base pioneering team. As well as being a member of YWAM Balut council in Manila.
